You can stop right at Ponte Brolla after the intersection that goes towards Maggia valley -200m after the intersection. The descent on an unmarked (unofficial) pathways to the valley for an amazing view - Maggia keys (Orrido di Ponte Brolla).
Parking is more like a "side road parking" or you can choose directly the restaurant parking closed to the Ponte Brolla.
Advice: Access to the water is not well maintained, it is not an official trail, so use good shoes and be careful on a rainy day.
Continue the drive on Vallemaggia.
Go upwards the river Maggia and turn on Val Bavona, the steepest and rockiest valley in this Alpine region.
Stop 2: Ritorto

From Ritorto jump back in your car and drive for about 2 minutes and get to village Foroglio.
Park at the village entrance or above the village, then cross the bridge over Bavona river and go to Foroglio village.

Things to see:
Very nice villages to visit are: Foroglio, Roseto, Faedo, Sonlerto, San Carlo and many other.
Foroglio Village: you travel back in the history. very picturesque villages with houses made of stone that have been rebuilt in the past decades. You can really relax here in an direct bound with nature and the past. Owners are proud of their properties and take well care of them, paying attentions to details. There is no electricity is available other than solar panels The Foroglio waterfall plunges with a mighty roar into the valley from 80-meter high rocks. Go into the small village with same name, park before the bridge and stroll on the small streets. You can eat in the summer at the local grotto or have a picnic on the grass near the fall.
From San Carlo you can take the cable car to Robiei and go to the glacier.
